The remedies employed in the treatment of common warts have ranged from magic charms to surgical excision, and acids, electricity, carbon dioxide snow and radium have all produced good results in many cases. However, when a large number of warts are present, local destructive measures are tedious and painful and, in children, such treatment is difficult to carry out. Case.-?A girl, aged about 10, was brought to me by ler lather for the treatment of dark brown elevations on the back of the hand and neck. Ja. examination I found that they were soft, fleshy and lobulated. From the history it was evident that ney were congenital, and; that they have increased ln ?1ZG 111 three years. Treatment.?On the first day I gave the following powder which I instructed her to rub well over the parts and to report on the fourth day. ^ ^ sali?y]as .. .. 1 drachm. Acid boric .. .. 3 drachms.
